The State Apartments of the Prince's Palace of Monaco will host the exhibition \u00abGrace\u00bb #1 from 5 July to 14 September 2025, a sensitive and unprecedented invitation to rediscover the radiant and multifaceted personality of Princess Grace, n\u00e9e Grace Patricia Kelly.<\/p>\n

Designed under the watchful eyes of Natalia Mlodzikowska, Exhibitions Manager at the Monaco Princely Palace Collections Department and General Curator, and invited artistic curator Marie-Eve Mestre, this exhibition offers an intimate approach, far from clich\u00e9s and fixed representations, to reveal the woman behind the icon: her nuances, her emotions, her quiet strength.<\/p>\n

Displayed across 90 sq m in three rooms of the Palace, \u00abGrace\u00bb #1 draws primarily from the collections and archives of the Prince's Palace. Photographs, personal belongings, jewellery, and accessories poignantly tell the story of the woman behind the icon: a sensitive, brilliant, courageous, and free spirit.<\/p>\n

The immersive scenography, conceived as a hushed setting, recreates an intimate and poetic universe. A velvet curtain, subdued lighting, carpet to soften footsteps... everything contributes to making this exhibition a precious interlude. Unpublished portraits of various sizes are displayed alongside objects dear to the Princess: glasses, gloves, hats, and of course the famous Herm\u00e8s Kelly bag. A floral tapestry inspired by her passion for nature, accompanied by a rose fragrance and a soundscape of birdsong, completes this atmosphere imbued with gentleness and elegance.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is organised around four themes reflecting the multifaceted nature of Grace: the natural young woman, immortalised on the beaches of Jamaica; the elegant and discreet woman of everyday life; the loving and attentive mother; and finally, the amateur photographer and filmmaker, keen to preserve memories and precious moments of her family life.<\/p>\n

Far from a chronological or exhaustive retrospective, \u00abGrace\u00bb #1 is a sensitive and artistic exploration of a timeless figure, allowing visitors to get closer to the Princess's intimacy while discovering the world through her own eyes.<\/p>\n
